The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) is the official data source for student data on enrollment, retention, and graduation rates, as well as institutional surveys and internal data requests and reports.
Office of Academic Program Review and Assessment
The Office of Academic Program Review and Assessment (APRA) is one of the units in the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Programs and Effectiveness. One of the responsibilities of APRA is to coordinate and support two processes of campus-wide assessment of student learning: degree program assessment and general education assessment.

The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Programs and Effectiveness provides leadership in areas related to academic programs, assessment, student success research, accreditation, transfer student agreements, and academic policy and effectiveness.
UIC Library
The UIC Library is an excellent resource for assessment and research needs. They offer several workshops throughout the semester, with topics around learning different analytical software like R, Excel, and GIS, scholarly publishing, and more.
