Hello and Welcome from TRIO SSS
TRIO Student Support Services is happy to welcome students that identify as low-income first-generation (meaning neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree), or students who fall under either criterion and/or with disabilities. TRIO program is designed to provide students with assistance in academics, career preparation, cultural enrichment, and financial literacy. The TRIO staff is available in person at suite 1600 in SSB and virtually on Zoom to assist.

Students can utilize the TRIO Study area Monday- Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, a maximum of 10 students are allowed in the TRIO study area. Please do not come to the TRIO Office if you’re not feeling well. A mask is required at all times.

How to set up virtual appointment with TRIO Staff?
Please set up an appointment with TRIO staff through iAdvise and indicate your preference for a virtual or in-person meeting. If you cannot make an appointment via iAdvise, please reach out to Dr. Anthony Jett at drjett@uic.edu or Lakeisha Beatty at lbeatt2@uic.edu. You can also call the TRIO office at (312) 996-5046 to make an appointment. Please do not come to the TRIO Office if you’re not feeling well. A mask is required at all times.
