Commuter Student Engagement
Commuter and Off-Campus Life conducted a sense of belonging study among undergraduate commuter students in order to better understand how they can support commuting students’ engagement and retention at UIC.
These analyses examine the engagement of commuter and resident students in selected activities.

Addressing Students’ Emotional Health
In the Fall 2011, NASPA and the JED Foundation conducted a survey regarding current practices, programming, and policies that universities and colleges have in place for addressing the emotional health of students and supporting at-risk students.
New Student and Parent Orientation
Student Development Services assessed the experiences of freshmen, transfer, and re-admit students and their parents in the 2010 summer orientation program.
