Annual Goal Submission

The Office of Assessment and Planning leads the Division of Student Affairs’ annual goal-setting process, supporting strategic alignment and continuous improvement across all units. Each fiscal year, departments enter their goals and updates into the CampusLabs/Anthology Planning platform.

Goals are crafted using the SMART framework—Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound—and include outcome statements and action items. Outcomes may focus on learning, operations, or program effectiveness, while action items outline the steps needed to achieve each goal. Many goals are informed by insights from the program review process. At the end of the year, departments provide updates and reflections, which inform future planning and are featured in the Student Affairs Annual Report.
